Garage Construction:

McCormick helps building the detached garage from the ground up. If you choose McCormick for your garage pad, we can continue the construction of the garage till it is completed.

Design is discussed and evaluated initially. We help to mimic the garage details from your home’s style and color. This includes the color and style of siding, roof, soffit, fascia, gutters, roof pitch and style, eave overhang, windows, outdoor lighting and trim.

Next, we start with the permit process. In order to obtain a permit, we can help you along the process. For more information regarding building permits, please review the following links.

Surveying and prep is completed once the permits have been pulled to ensure we comply and don’t encroach on any surrounding property.

Next comes the garage pad. Please review the link to get an idea as to how we finish a garage pad.

Once the concrete is finished, there are several steps in the framing process including the building and standing of walls, standing the roof trusses, frame eves and fascia, sheath roof and backup work.

After the frame work is done, we then complete the finishing touches. We will install the windows and entry door, roof felt and shingles, exterior paper home wrap, overhead door, utilities and then the final inspection.

The final step is for you to enjoy your new garage to store your things and enjoy the freedom of never having the scrape your windshield in the morning!

Interior Renovations

Kitchen Renovations

The kitchen is the foundation in which families are built and are where families spend a majority of their time. If you’re gathering for a family meal, having the kids finish up their homework, or enjoying a glass of wine or beer after a long day at work, the kitchen is your centre space.

Many families that are growing are in need of more space, better layout, new appliances and updated looks. In Edmonton, kitchen renovations are one of the first renovations completed within a house to increase the value. With younger generations and bigger families move into busy neighbourhoods filled with older homes, a kitchen renovation can set your home apart from the rest in your area.

There are many different ways to improve your kitchen and we’ve found that the following have had a phenomenal return on investment in your daily life and selling qualities of the home itself.

  • Updated Backsplashes
  • Updated Appliances
  • New Cabinetry
  • Better Layout for Hosting
  • More Useful Storage Options
  • New Flooring
  • New Island or Peninsula Edition
  • Newer Finishes and Fixtures

Bathroom Renovations

Bathrooms are typically overlooked when it comes to purchasing a new home or when completing a renovation. Typically some new paint and fixtures are good enough to create a new experience but that’s not the case. Bathroom renovations have many ways to improve your experience in the loo. Whether you’re looking for more space, improved layout, better hardware, more lighting, more storage, bigger mirrors, or even modern design, we can help you out with your next project.

Most of our Edmonton bathroom renovations include:

  • Updated Backsplashes
  • New Cabinetry
  • Better Layout
  • More Useful Storage Options
  • New Flooring
  • Newer Finishes and Fixtures
  • New Hardware
  • Adding Walk-In Closet

Did you know that we typically spend around 30 minutes per day in the bathroom? That’s a long time.
